Networking is not possible on LinkedIn?

These are the reasons why networking on LinkedIn is sometimes not possible:

There are some reasons why the “Network” button may not be displayed in a member’s profile:

  1. You have not yet confirmed your primary email address, the email could not be delivered, or you need to confirm a new email address.

  2. You are already networked with this member.

  3. You have already sent the member a contact request.

  4. You already have more than 500 contacts. In this case, the “Network” button will be replaced by the “Follow” button by default and will appear in the drop-down menu when you click “More” in your introduction card.

  5. You have selected “Follow” instead of “Network” as the default option.

  6. You have activated the Creator mode. In this case, members will see the “Follow” button instead of “Network” in your profile.

Please note: InMail messages allow you to send direct messages to members who are not part of your network. If you have a standard (free) account, you will need to upgrade to a premium account to use the InMail credit. If you already have a Premium membership and need more InMail credit than you have been allocated, you can purchase up to 10 more units at any time.
